Design Innovation and Green Building

PMPE considers each project a unique challenge with unique answers; we are committed to researching and analysing how to implement the most suitable HVAC and plumbing systems for each project. We are well-versed with the Green Building Council Standards and LEED.

With our experienced LEED Accredited Professionals, we strive to keep all mechanical and plumbing systems as energy efficient as possible and with the smallest amount of environmental impact. We have always been dedicated to designing systems with both the natural environment and building environment in mind.

By striving to provide the most energy efficient mechanical and plumbing systems possible, and working with other disciplines to implement and utilize new energy generation methods into new buildings we are pushing to design the buildings of the future and meet our carbon neutral goals.

In order to prevent the spread of airborne contaminants and respiratory illnesses we are constantly researching, learning, and implementing the best ways to improve our HVAC and plumbing system designs to ensure the best indoor air quality possible for all occupants.

Project Background

Prior to PMPE, our founder Max Pajouhesh, specialized in healthcare projects, focusing on patient comfort and indoor air quality. Since the formation of PMPE in 2002, we have provided mechanical and plumbing services including feasibility studies, design and construction support for over 200 schools, as well as many commercial, hospitality, public, and scientific facilities in southern California.

With a wide array of experience in numerous types of projects of ranging sizes, we are capable of determining and overcoming the needs and challenges of any project. In addition, we are well versed in analysis and design of Heating Hot Water and Chilled Water Hydronic HVAC Systems, and have extensive knowledge in utilizing such systems in conjunction with Variable Air Volume (VAV) Boxes, fan coils, air handling units, and displacement ventilation.

Collaboration

Our depth of resources allows us to provide solutions to your projects by bringing on board highly qualified staff, and proactively working and coordinating designs with Owners, Architects, Electrical Engineers, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Fire Protection Engineers and other Consultants. PMPE continuously strives to work well with the entire team, which includes understanding each team member's position and helping the entire team provide the best possible solution for the client.

We take the initiative to coordinate with owners, clients, contractors, and consultants. Our staff are professional and we always welcome other team members' and agency's comments on our designs.
